Scottish Woodfuels Group is a co-operative formed by a collection of woodfuel producers in South West Scotland. We represent a diverse group of businesses ranging from charitable organisations, private woodland owners and managers to waste management companies. Our backgrounds and strengths are diverse but we share a common aim:

Scottish Woodfuels Group aims to provide high quality, cost-effective, environmentally sound and sustainable woodfuel to meet our customers’ demands throughout Scotland and beyond, providing
the highest standards of reliability and customer satisfaction.

We can supply, in any quantity:

• logs (sized to customers’ requirements, supplied in sacks or bulk),
• wood chip (to client specification for size, moisture content, etc),
• wood pellets (in bulk or bagged) .

We use waste wood, recycled wood, forestry residues, wind blow, damaged and dead timber as well as commercial timber to produce our fuel products. Our network of suppliers can supply throughout Ayrshire and its surrounding counties, and will strive to minimise transport distances and so the carbon footprint and cost of your delivered fuel.

In addition to being woodfuel suppliers, many of our members use wood as their primary heat source for their domestic and/or commercial premises.
